Thermoplastic Processes’ Excelon® Nylon tubing has a high resistance to moisture absorption, corrosion, and stress cracking. Our nylon material, also known as polyamide, is lightweight and has excellent bend radius, strong pressure ratings, and UV properties. Our Nylon tubing is ideal for outdoor applications, making it the preferred choice in the agricultural and automotive industries. Thermoplastic Processes’ stock Nylon tubing is Nylon 12; however, it is also available in Nylon 6 and Nylon 11. Nylon 12 is the most flexible of the three materials and has a lower moisture absorption than Nylon 6. Nylon 6 offers higher abrasion resistance and tensile strength, while Nylon 11 offers better thermal resistance. Excelon® Nylon 12 tubing is stocked in 8 different colors from 3mm OD to 14mm OD. Custom sizes, lengths, and colors are available upon request in semi-rigid and rigid Nylon.
